Here is how it works
The labs works much the same way any lab works. When you visit your medical Doctor and he needs to confirm or rule out a disease he sends you with a prescription for a specific test to the local lab ( radiology, blood lab etc) . OD labs works the same way. When you have a patient that requires specific testing for a condition you send the patient to the lab for imaging, ( for glaucoma, glaucoma suspects, diabetics, Macula disease, corneal disorders and dystrophies, optic nerve pathway disorders) within a few days you have the results in hand and are able to assess the condition. Now you are in a better position to monitor, treat or refer that patient for treatment. You are in control. Additionally, you get to bill and get PAID for the intrepretation of the results.
